Project 3 : Animation Rendering (The Video)

Here it is the final product for the final assignment for this subject. I'm grateful to have this subject in my course as I've learn a lot during the twice a week class and learning from my lecturer, Mr.Angus Lee have been an awesome experience.

As I was told earlier, all of us won't become masters of the 3DsMAX software during the entire 14 weeks for semester 3 but with much practice and frequent use for future assignments, one can produce wonders with it.

It took me around three days to produce this animation.

This video also marks my first animation debut and also my first to ever upload into my YouTube account after having it left empty since 2008. To anyone who is seeing this, I hope you'll enjoy the short 1 minute animation featuring the Four-cornered Villa designed by Avanto Architects.

Project 3 : Animation Rendering (Progress)

For this assignment, I'm using my completed 3D exterior & interior building of Four-cornered Villa, showcasing it in a video animation format. The requirement for this last of the 3 assignments is to produce a maximum 1 minute video with a minimum 640x480 resolution.

Here it's the progress for this assignment. The method I to create the animation is by using the 'line' spline to create sort-of like track for my camera to travel. After that I adjust to my preferred view, better if is in eye-level position. Lastly, configure the settings for the rendering part. Things that need to look at for the overall of this assignment is the frames per-second, auto key, and the duration.

Interior Rendering - The Rendering

1. Eye-level Rendering (Living Room)

2. Eye-level Rendering (Dining/Kitchen Area)

Interior Rendering - The 3D

Here's the part where I'll bring the interior part of the Four-cornered Villa 'alive'. CAD-ding wasn't part of the process as it is done back in the Project 2A : Exterior Rendering.

The furnitures for the interior are downloaded from free 3D model websites. It is carefully selected to suit the interior. It's not exactly like the actual interior from the building but I gave my take on how it should look like, a "less is more" perception.
